Stretch, Meditation & Reiki

The modern world is fast-paced and there is ever evolving technology that places a high emphasis on human productivity and efficiency.  This can result in individuals finding they have little time for making deep and meaningful connections with themselves or others.  In turn, this may cultivate a relentless feeling of being overwhelmed and stressed. With so much to do and so little time, it’s easy to get caught up in an endless cycle of constant multitasking. This can lead to an overall decline in wellbeing. 

However, just because the pace of life is speeding up, does not mean that we must choose to be hurried.

Stretch and Restore classes combine mindful movement with focussed breathwork and scientifically proven meditation techniques to reduce stress in the mind and body, improve focus, aid relaxation and support better sleep – the perfect antidote to these pressures of everyday life. You will be guided using a variety of techniques to be present in the moment so that you can reconnect with yourself.

While Reiki sessions can be tailored to your individual needs, I often integrate restorative stretching, breathwork, and meditation into treatments—creating a deeply calming and holistic experience.

Using breathing techniques to connect the mind and body, whilst taking time to explore individual range in static asanas (stretches).

These sessions will help to: Deeply relax the body, still a busy mind, release muscular tension, improve mobility and flexibility, regulate the stress response & balance the central nervous system.

Clients frequently report that where they had previously been struggling with sleep, they notice significant improvements in their sleep quality—especially on the day of the class and with regular attendance

You’ll be guided through gentle, restorative exercises that are designed to calm the body and mind while helping to release tension, stress, and anxiety stored throughout the body.

With a focus on breath and mindful movement, the session encourages you to slow down and be fully present.

Each class ends with a period of relaxation and a short, guided meditation—delivering the ultimate 35 minutes of self-care.

Reiki is a beautiful, calming treatment that channels energy to support relaxation, healing, and an overall sense of wellbeing. During the session, you’ll remain fully clothed as energy is gently channelled through a combination of hands-on and hands-above techniques, working through each of the body’s chakras.

No two sessions are ever quite the same—you’ll receive exactly what your body and mind need most in that moment to restore balance and promote internal harmony. I will begin with some gentle restorative stretching, and close the session with guided meditation and breathwork to deepen your sense of calm and presence—always tailored to your comfort and preferences.
